| Split Bearings |

Split bearings are one type bearings of convenience mounting & dismounting and maintenance which widely used in the fields of metallurgy, mining, electric power, shipment, cement, paper manufacture, chemical industry, sugar manufacturing machinery, water treatment, delivery, wind turbine generators, bucket wheel machines, port machines and globe mills. Split bearings that are adopted to substitute for integral type bearings in the place where bearings are difficult to mounting & dismounting such as converter bearings, continuous roll bearings and large scale transport equipments can increase the efficiency significantly. Spilt bearings are suitable for the occasion of low speed, heavy-load, strong impact force and poor sealing performance, etc.
Split bearings have various structures and types and their different structures are suitable for certain working conditions. Split bearings such as split cylindrical roller bearings, split spherical roller bearings and split deep groove ball bearings and so on mainly used in the location where hard to maintenance, and they need much time and labor to maintenance or replace which cost much, i.e. crankshaft or long axis. In some relative high temperature situations, bearings with water cooling and sealing devices could also be adopted. To sum up, split bearings are easy to fix, and it’s no use to dismount appurtenances during checking them but only to knock down the parts such as the cover of the bearing block, the bearing box and the outer rings, etc. |
